Drums Alive
$15.00       (Yoga Cards will be accepted as payment also)
Wednesday, October 12th, 2022
6:00pm – 7:00pm

Have you ever wanted to be a drummer?  Drums Alive joins the dynamic movements of aerobic dance with the pulsating rhythms of the drum.  It is a unique exercise class…designed to give the mind and body instant feedback through continuous movement and rhythmical flow.  This class will not only keep you moving but will challenge your thinking skills…a “whole body – whole brain” experience.  Come out and join us in the meadow for this stress relieving, super fun class!  No drumming experience is needed.  Class is open to all exercise skill levels.  Bring your own stability drumming ball or we will provide you with a drumming bucket that works nicely.

Instructor’s Bio:  After concluding her two careers as a Registered Nurse and Elementary School Teacher, Carol Saggiomo remains active and continues to pursue her love of exercise.  As a certified Drums Alive instructor since 2018, Carol has taught all levels and ages from 4 to 95 years old    She feels that one of the big draws of this exercise program is that you can drum at any age and any level!  Her inspiration comes from her father who was an exercise physiologist at a time when “working out” was not part of our daily lives.  With an extensive background in musical instruction, the process of choreographing drum routines to exciting music is rewarding for her.  Carol enjoys yoga, healthy cooking and hanging out with her best buddy – her two year old grandson.
